Description
The Moor Post Office and the attached house is a building dating from around 1800, with an extension added in the late 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is tile hung on a painted brick ground floor, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys, with chimney stacks located at both ends and one at the rear center. There are two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, and there are remnants of an original central doorway. The shop section has a hipped roof, a five-light window on the first floor, and a plate glass shop front that includes a central double glazed door and a large projecting fascia. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension to the shop on the right.
