Description
Wych House is a house dating from the 18th century and early 19th century, with alterations made around 1900. It features a timber frame and is weather-boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof, while an extension has a slate roof. The building has two storeys resting on a brick base, with a hipped roof that has a paired modillion eaves cornice and stacks located to the left and at the rear. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with sliding louvred shutters, and the ground floor has two oriel bays that were added around 1900. The central entrance consists of a panelled door topped by a segmental fanlight and framed by an open moulded pediment supported by pilasters and brackets. To the right, there is an early 19th-century, one-storey hipped extension with a slate roof, which includes two glazing bar sashes, a tripartite glazing bar sash on the right return, and a catslide outshot at the rear.
