Description
180 and 182 High Street are two shops dating from the 18th or 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The buildings are timber framed and rough rendered, topped with a grey slate roof. They feature a moulded eaves cornice and stand two storeys tall. The first floor has a five-window range, with the windows at 182 being 20th-century casements and three windows at 180 being 19th-century small paned vertical sliding sashes. The shop front and door at 182 are from the 20th century, and there is a central passageway opening that has a 18th-century moulded architrave and a plain door. To the right, a 19th-century shop front projects forward, featuring a moulded cill for the shop window and a moulded architrave for the part-glazed door. There is also a 20th-century viewing window to the far right.
