Description
These shops, located at 34-38 Magdalen Street, date to the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is rendered at first floor level, topped with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high, with five windows at the first floor level. Three 20th-century shopfronts are present. The first floor features three sash windows with glazing bars to the left, and two casement windows to the right. Three large gable dormers, each containing a sash window and bargeboards, are visible.
