Description

This barn, located on Rydon Epping Road, dates to around 1700. It is a timber-framed structure built using oak and Baltic pine, and is clad in weatherboard. The roof is half-hipped and covered with red plain tiles. The barn is three bays long. Internally, the tie beams are arch-braced, and the roof is a side purlin construction with intermittent collars.
