Description

This barn, located to the west of Rowden's Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features weather-boarding on a timber frame, resting on a low brick plinth built in English bond, and has a tiled hipped roof. The structure consists of five bays with a narrow east aisle at the front. There is a central square-headed entry that includes wooden double doors. The roof trusses are constructed with braced tie-beams, queen posts, struts, and some collars.
