Barn. Late C17 with considerable later alterations. Weatherboarded and corrugated-iron clad timber frame on rubblestone plinth; corrugated iron roof. 2 levels; scattered eaves hatches and stable doors with late C18 or C19 gabled addition (former stables) to centre. Interior: framing visible; 2 much renewed rectangular panels from cill to wall- plate. Single-purlin roof in 8 bays with mixture of Queen-strut trusses and raking struts from tie beams supporting principal rafters; lofts to left and right. Included for group value.
