Barn Approximately 12 Metres East Of Wood Bank

This barn, located approximately 12 meters east of Wood Bank, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. It features a timber frame clad in corrugated iron and a slate roof. The barn has two levels, with access provided by wide 20th-century double doors at the rear on the right side. Inside, the framing is visible, showcasing rectangular panels with two sections from the cill to the wall-plate, along with long straight tension braces. The roof consists of a single purlin design in two bays, supported by collar and tie beam end trusses, and a queen-post truss in the center, with a loft above the left bay.
