PREES C.P. SHREWSBURY STREET SJ 5433-5533 (east side) 14/100 Former lock-up - (formerly listed 6.2.73 as Prison) - II

Lock-up, now disused. Probably late C18. Large sandstone ashlar blocks; flat stone slab roof with heavy round-moulded cornice and ball terminal to centre. Square plan. Wide late C20 corrugated iron double doors on north.
