Description
Croydon House is an early 19th-century house with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of painted brick, with a concrete tile roof and integral end stack to the left, and a ridge stack to the right of centre. The house is two storeys high, with a toothed eaves cornice. There are three widely spaced windows, each with 16 panes in a glazing bar sash, and plain painted stone lintels. The entrance is positioned between the first and second windows from the left, and features a plain stuccoed Tuscan-columned porch with a moulded entablature over a four-panel door. Contemporary spear-shaped railings are attached to a sandstone plinth along the front.
