Description

Walford House is a house built in the late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick on a sandstone plinth and features a slate roof with integral end stacks. The building has three storeys and a moulded eaves cornice, with a three-window front that includes 16-paned glazing bar sashes topped with painted stone wedge lintels. The central entrance has a round-headed brick surround, a six-panel door, panelled reveals, and a semi-circular fanlight. There is a similar entrance on the right gable end.
