Description

The lock-up in Gillingham, located on South Street, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a gable-ended, tiled roof. The building is single storey and has no windows. The central bay projects slightly, and there is an unmoulded central doorway with a four-centred head and a simple pitched label above it. The door is a studded plank design.
