Description
The lockup is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick, featuring brick and ashlar dressings. It has a slate roof and open pediments in the gables with raised brick bands. The building is single storey and consists of a single bay. The gable end faces the road and includes a doorway with a chamfered ashlar surround and a heavy wooden plank door adorned with stud-headed nails. Above the doorway is a lozenge-shaped ventilator. On the right wall, there is an opening with a chamfered ashlar surround, fitted with a metal grille and bars.
