FARNSFIELD MANSFIELD ROAD (east side) Lockup

II

Lockup. Early C19. Red brick, with brick and ashlar dressings. Slate roof. Open pediments formed in the gables with raised brick bands. Single storey, single bay. Gable end to road with doorway with chamfered ashlar surround and heavy wooden plank door with stud headed nails. Above is a lozenge shaped ventilator. In the right wall is an opening with chamfered ashlar surround and metal grille and bars.
