Description

Longlands is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and has two red brick gable stacks and dogtooth eaves. The house is two storeys high plus a garret, and originally comprised three bays. The central doorway features a panelled door and a Gothick glazing bar fanlight, set within a moulded surround with a keystone. Flanking the central bay are single, brick and wood canted bays, each containing three glazing bar sashes. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes with painted flush wedge lintels and keystones. To the rear of the main block are two two-storey, two-bay ranges.
