Description
Farnsfield Hall is a small country house dating from the mid-18th century. It features a rendered exterior over red brick and has a hipped slate roof with two lateral rendered stacks. The building has a modillion eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall with five bays. The central doorway is adorned with a glazing bar door and an overlight, framed by an ashlar surround with two ashlar brackets that support a pediment. Flanking the doorway are two glazing bar casements in their original openings, while above are five glazing bar sash windows. All windows are topped with painted wedge lintels and keystones. To the left, there is a three-bay red brick wing, where the single right bay is two storeys high and the left two bays are single storey. This wing includes three doorways with glazing bar doors.
