Description
The building is a barn dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features brick coped gables with kneelers, and the front of the left gable is crow stepped. The eaves are decorated with dogtooth detailing, and the structure is set on a plinth. The barn is two storeys high and consists of four bays. There is a domestic doorway beneath a segmental arch, with a part-blocked doorway to the left that now has a slatted wooden opening. To the right, there is a single slatted wooden opening with a glazing bar overlight, and further right is an enlarged domestic doorway that was originally beneath a segmental arch. Above these openings are two more openings with wooden shutters and glazing bar overlights, and to the right are the remains of flight perches. Attached to the right is a single-storey cattle shelter, also made of red brick and pantile, which has two bays. Additionally, there is a red brick wall projecting from the right of the cattle shelter, with the area between it and the barn now covered. This building is included for its group value.
