PREES C.P. CHURCH STREET (north side) Stable block and attached wall attached to late C19 addition to Prees Hall
GV II Stable block, now disused. Early C18 with later additions and alterations. Red brick; hipped plain tile roof. One storey and attic forming former groom's accommodation, dentilled eaves cornice. Wide elliptical stable arch with double doors to left of centre beneath slightly projecting stepped gable with fixed-light window to upper level. Rectangular fixed-light window with gauged head to left and similar doorway with two inserted flanking doorways to right. Section to right (roughly contemporary but separated by straight joint) has two entrances, right with segmental head. Red brick ridge stack to right of stepped gable. Wall attached to left: also early C18, red brick with sandstone coping. Approximately 40 metres long with pilasters and chamfered plinth on north side.
Interior of stable: cross-wall of section to right is timber framed with collar and tie beam roof truss.
