Description

Newbarn is an early 19th-century farmyard designed around an open square, which includes an adjacent pond and gateway entrance. The barn features a timber frame and is covered in black weatherboarding with a slate roof, along with a midstrey facing south. To the west, there is a red brick range that has a gault brick band at half height and a slated roof. The north-east corner is formed by a timber framed and weatherboarded range with a blue-glazed pantiled ridged roof. The south-east corner consists of a two-storey timber building set on red brick piers, which has five open bays for cart storage.
