Description

The stables at Warren's Farm, dating from around 1700, are a stable building constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring blue-glazed headers. The structure is two storeys high and consists of two bays, oriented roughly east-west. The first floor in the east bay is open, while the west bay contains original mangers. The roof is made of oak and consists of five bays, with lap-dovetailed collars, wind braces at both gables, and side-purlins. There is a central tie beam with a brick nogged stud partition beneath it and a plastered partition above. The gables at both the east and west ends are timber studded. Access is provided by one door in the north wall and two half-doors in the south wall. The roof is ridged and covered with peg tiles.
