Description

Great Yard Cottage is a house dating from the 15th or 16th century. It is timber framed and rendered, standing two storeys tall in a T-plan layout with a one bay stem. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles. The existing windows are sets of three casements, and there is one dormer window on the front slope. A red brick chimney stack is located against the west wall of the crosswing.
