Description

Clarke's Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and features a T-shaped plan with a crosswing at the south. There is a three-window range of vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. A 16th-century red brick chimney stack is also present. Additionally, there is a one-storey extension at the north-west end, and the extensive frame of the original structure still survives.
