Description

Ponders Lodge Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 15th century or early 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and an overall T-shaped plan. The façade features a range of four windows, which include 19th-century casements and vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars and sidelights. There is a long wall jetty, which is underbuilt at the north end. A 16th-century red brick chimney stack is present, although it has been partially rebuilt at the top. Inside, the original frame is intact, showcasing a crown post roof.
