Description

A house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century, located on the west side of Dunmow Road in Fyfield. It is built with a timber frame and was subsequently plastered, featuring a red tile half-hipped roof. The house is two storeys high and follows a three-bay and chimney bay plan, with a three-window front. Windows are 20th-century casements, and there are two 20th-century doors. Lean-to extensions have been added to the rear. The original red brick chimney stack remains, though partially rebuilt at the top. Original timber framing is still visible within the structure.
