House formerly a farmhouse. Early C17 with C19 additions and alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with C19 painted brick casing, rubble flint wall incorporated into rear extension. Plain tiled roofs. Two ridge stacks. Two storeys with attics and cellar, original lobby entry plan with rear stair turret and C19 service wing. Two ground floor and two first floor four-paned hung sash windows; C20 glazed door. Interior: stop-chamfered and boxed ceiling beams, attic floor inserted in C19, clunch lined spiral stair to cellar cut into natural chalk. Sealed and relined hearths.
