Description
A cottage dating to the 16th century, with possible alterations to the roof in the early 19th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a plain tiled mansard roof. The cottage is one storey and attic high, with a gable facing the street. It has an end stack to the east and a reduced side stack to the south. A boarded door is located on the front, alongside a 20th-century window to the right. There is a three-light casement window in the attic. The cottage may be a surviving wing of a larger 16th-century building, as suggested by the Millicent and Paris Maps of 1600.
