Description

The Waggon and Horses Public House is a building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with painted brick elements and has pantile roofs topped with a red brick ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high and was originally jettied over the street, with a later single-storey wing added to the east. The main entrance is a gable with a four-panelled door located to the left of a large horizontal sliding sash window. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement window. The inn sign is supported by wrought iron brackets.
