Description

No. 130 High Street is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame with plaster and a casing of gault brick. It has a pantiled roof and stands two storeys tall, originally designed with a two-unit plan, although the lobby entrance has been blocked. The house includes a red brick chimney stack with grouped shafts from the 17th century, and it has a dentil brick eaves cornice along with giant pilastered brick quoins. The main entrance is located in the west gable. On the ground floor, there is one nine-paned hung sash window and one wide eight-paned fixed-light window, both set within cambered brick arches. The first floor features two nine-paned hung sash windows.
