Description

The Firs is a house that was originally a farmhouse, dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is plastered, along with a plastered plinth. The roof is half hipped and thatched. The building has one storey and attics, arranged in a three-unit lobby entry plan. There is a ridge stack with grouped diagonal shafts. The entrance includes a panelled door set within a 19th-century open gabled porch. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows, and on the first floor, there are three similar casement windows.
