Description

Tyne Cottage is a house that was formerly a school house, dated 1824 and marked with 'SWC' in an oval panel. It is constructed of clunch ashlar and has painted gault brick end stacks. The building features a thatched roof and is one storey with an attic. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with circular bosses in the top panels. There are two casement windows on the ground floor and two dormer casement windows above.
