Description

No. 61 High Street is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with its roof raised in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is roughcast rendered, topped with a plain tile roof. A red brick ridge stack is located to the right of the center. The house has two storeys and follows a three-unit lobby entry plan, with a gable outshut on the right side. The entrance includes a half-glazed door, and there are three three-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors. Inside, there are two original hearths, one of which is sealed, and the ceilings have stop-chamfered beams. A service partition has been removed.
