Description

No. 5 Old Market is a late 18th-century shop located in Wisbech. It is constructed of local brown brick and features a corrugated asbestos roof, with a stack positioned to the north. The building has three storeys and a basement, topped with stone copings along the parapet. On the second floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars set in cambered gauged brick arches. Above the shop, there are sixteen-paned hung sash windows that also have similar cambered arches. The late 19th-century shop facade includes matching canted bay windows on either side of a central shop door. Additionally, there are two patterned iron grills for the basement lights.
