Description

No. 2 Saturday Market Place is a shop built in the early 19th century. It features a brown brick exterior and a slate roof, rising three stories with a single bay. The shopfront is made of plate glass and has a central entrance. Above the shopfront, there are mid-20th century casement windows on the two upper floors, which are set beneath gauged skewback arches. The building has a low parapet with returns that conceals a hipped roof, and there is a stack located on the east slope of the roof.
