Description

This is a shop dating to around 1700, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is located on the north side of Saturday Market Place in King's Lynn. The building has a rendered and colourwashed brick facade. The roof is slate-covered, with a parapet partially concealing the gabled roof. A late 20th-century timber shopfront includes a door to the left, and a plain fascia board. A tripartite sash window is positioned on the first floor, topped by a hood supported on scrolled consoles. There is one flat-topped dormer window on the roof, with a sash window. A chimney stack is situated on the west side of the front roof slope. Internally, a staircase has an open string with bobbin and stick balusters.
