Description

This is an early 19th-century shop and flat located on the north side of Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn. The building is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof and is three stories high, occupying one bay. The ground floor features a 20th-century shop front with a tiled plinth and a plain fascia board. The first floor has a two-light cross casement window beneath a gauged skewback arch. Above this is a double sash window, also under a gauged skewback arch. The roof is shallowly gabled and features an external east gable-end stack, shared with the adjacent building at No. 5. The property is included on the listing for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
