Public house. C17, almost completely rebuilt mid-C19. Rendered and colourwashed brick. Machine tiled roof. 2 storeys. Alleyway gate to right. Entrance door to right of 3-light casement with cranked transom. One-light casement left of this closes facade. Fascia band has hood brackets right and left. Three 2-light cross casements to first floor, the central one with a pediment, the others with segmental pediments. Dentil eaves cornice. Kneelers. Gabled roof. Internal gable-end stacks, that to west with lower fillet suggesting pre-C19 date. Rear is amalgam of C19 and C20 extensions. INTERIOR. First-floor front room retains a C17 double sunk quadrant-moulded bridging beam.
