Description
Wenn's Hotel is a hotel located in King's Lynn, consisting of two distinct buildings that were once separate properties. The western part dates from the early 18th century and is made of rendered and colorwashed brick with a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and a dormer attic, featuring six bays. The main entrance is in the second bay from the left, which is sheltered by a flat hood, while a door in the second bay from the right has been blocked and converted into a window in the mid-20th century. The first floor has six sash windows with glazing bars. The gabled roof includes three hipped dormers fitted with casement windows, and there is a ridge stack located to the left of the center.
The eastern part of the building dates from the mid-19th century and also features rendered and colorwashed brick, but has a slate roof. This section has three storeys and five bays, curving around the corner, with 20th-century doors located at the corner. The windows are sashes, each with one glazing bar. The gabled roof has an internal stack at the north gable end and a ridge stack to the left of the center.
