Description
This building, located to the rear of number 4 Tuesday Market Place in King's Lynn, is a house dating from around 1700, now used as offices. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, standing two storeys high with seven bays. The two western bays on the ground floor have been incorporated into a 19th-century extension of number 4. The doorway is located in the third bay from the right and features a door with applied boarding beneath an open pediment hood supported by console brackets. The windows consist of two-light timber cross casements with leaded lights, although the window immediately to the left of the door has been altered in the 20th century and is set in a reduced opening. The building has high gauged skewback arches and a timber eaves cornice. The gabled roof has a ridge stack positioned to the left of the center. The north side, or rear, of the building is constructed against the Duke's Head Hotel.
