Description

Wood House is a mid-19th century house located on King Street, King's Lynn. The building is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. A panelled door is centrally located on the left side of the front elevation, set within a painted plastered case. Above the door is an overlight beneath a stepped lintel, and a hood supported by consoles. To the right of the door are two late 19th-century plate-glass sash windows, each set beneath a gauged skewback arch. A string course runs below three similar windows on the first floor. The building has timber eaves, and a gabled roof with gable-end stacks positioned halfway up the front roof slope.
