Description

This cottage, dating from the 17th century, is located at the lowest end of the village on the north side of the road, approximately 296 yards northwest of the junction with Sharpenhoe Road. The building has been refaced in whitewashed brick, although timber-framing is still visible on the rear elevation. It stands two storeys high and features an old clay tile roof. There are two casement windows with glazing bars, and a 19th-century porch is present.
