Description

Barton Mill is a late 18th century watermill building located on Mill Lane in Barton-le-Clay. The structure features weatherboarding and a mansard roof covered with Welsh slate. It stands three storeys tall, with central doors on the ground and first floors, and a projecting gabled sack hoist at the top. Each floor has two large single windows with glazing bars, which are hinged in the middle of each side and set within moulded frames. The building has been generally modernised.
