Description

No. 32 Sharpenhoe Road is a colour-washed rouglicast and timber-frame house, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has a thatched roof and a two-room plan. A single-sided stack is positioned centrally, and a gable end stack stands at the original north end, adjoining No. 30. The house has a half-hipped gable end facing the road. It is one storey high with attics, featuring two eyebrow dormers and several casement windows, some with leaded lights. A modern porch has been added. The structure incorporates one full cruck truss.
