Description

Number 7 on Bedford Road is a building from the 17th century that has undergone alterations and additions in the 19th century. It features colour washed plaster over a timber frame and has an old tile roof. The original layout consists of two rooms with a large central back-to-back fireplace, although one side of the fireplace has been removed. The building is two storeys high.

On the ground floor, there are 19th century shop bay windows and a canted bay window, both of which have glazing bars, situated on either side of the doorway that has a cut bracketed doorhood. There is one ground floor sash window and two first floor casement windows, all with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a 19th century wing.
