Description

The Royal Oak Inn is a large house built in the late 17th century. It features red and vitreous brick with an old clay tile roof and has integral gable end stacks. The building stands two storeys high with attics. The front elevation includes one ground floor and five first floor casements, all with gauged brick heads. There is a first floor storey band on the front, and the east side elevation has bands at both the first and second floor levels. A modern rear extension has been added.
