Description
Horsehill Farmhouse is a house that was once divided into two cottages. It dates from the 17th century and was reworked in the 19th century. The building has a substantial timber frame that is encased in colourwashed brick and features a clay tile roof. It is one storey high with attics and has a four-room plan, with the right-hand room appearing to be a 19th-century addition.
On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, one single light window, and two 3-light casement windows, most of which have glazing bars. The attic contains four hipped dormers, each with 2-light casements. A 20th-century gabled porch has been added to the front. There is a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths, and a 19th-century single-storeyed outbuilding is attached to the left-hand gable end.
