Description

A cottage dating from the 17th century, located in Tarrant Monkton village. The south facade is partially rendered and whitewashed while the remainder is brick. It has a thatched roof and brick stacks at the ends. The cottage is one and a half storeys high with an irregular arrangement of three windows. The south facade features 2 and 3 light casements from the 20th century, with diamond-pane leaded lights, and a 20th-century plank door on the right. The north facade has casements made of cast iron from the 19th century, with glazing bars. Internal features include one room with chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
