Description
The Langton Arms is an inn, possibly originally a pair of cottages, dating from the late 18th century. It features Flemish-bond brickwork with burnt headers and a first-floor plat-band. The building has a half-hipped thatched roof with brick stacks located centrally and at the right end. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with two and three-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor openings are set under segmental brick arches. There is a 20th-century thatched porch with a part-glazed door, which is the fourth from the right. To the left, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension made of brick and weatherboarding. The interior has been significantly altered.
