Description

Riversdale is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house, dating from the 17th century, possibly with an earlier core. The building is rendered and whitewashed, with some exposed timber framing. It features a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side. There are brick stacks located to the left, centrally, and near the right end. The house has one and a half storeys and an irregular arrangement of four windows. The windows are 2 and 3-light casements with leaded lights, some of which are original and made of cast iron in heavy timber surrounds. There is a 19th or 20th-century glazed porch with a plain plank door.
