Description

Old Post Cottage and Laurel Cottage are a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are rendered and whitewashed, with some brickwork, and feature thatched roofs with end brick stacks. The cottages are one and a half storeys tall and have a three-window range. The windows are 19th-century two-light cast-iron casements with glazing bars. Old Post Cottage has a part-glazed plank door, while Laurel Cottage has a plain plank door. Both cottages have thatched porches. Inside, each cottage has a stop-chamfered beam in the living room.
