Description

No 9, 10 and 11 on Load Street is a house that has been converted into a restaurant and flat. It dates from the early 18th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The building is made of brick and has a hipped tile roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a dentilled brick cornice. There are two windows on the upper floors, which are boxed glazing bar sashes set beneath rubbed brick heads with stone sills. The ground floor has a pilastered shop front with scroll brackets supporting a moulded cornice. To the right, there is a 2-pane shop window, and to the left, a recessed entrance.
