Description
This building, located at No. 10 Castle Square in Wisbech, is a house and shop that likely dates from the late 17th century, possibly contemporary with or slightly later than Nos. 7, 8, and 9. The street facade has been rebuilt in red brick, while the side elevation features local brown brick. The structure stands three storeys high and has a slate roof that is hipped towards the street. Notable architectural features include a stone band at the second floor and rusticated stone quoins at the first floor. The second floor has two recessed nine-pane hung sash windows with stone cills, and the first floor has two similar but twelve-paned hung sash windows. Both elevations have modern shop windows.
